What's happening...
2011 has been a whirlwind year of adventure, growth and development for Sinfonia Cymru which has confirmed its status as the leading professional chamber orchestra for Wales. Sinfonia Cymru had the great privilege of performing to audiences in a variety of wonderful and welcoming venues across Wales.
Highlights of 2011 include a free community tour which involved hundreds of local school children from communities across Wales performing musical activities alongside the musicians of Sinfonia Cymru and international cellist Philip Higham.
Throughout the year Sinfonia Cymru was joined on stage by an array of established solo artists such as Rhys Watkins, Catrin Finch, Philip Higham and Llŷr Williams.
2012 promises to be an even more adventurous and diverse year, with the orchestra set to offer an array of vibrant musical experiences to audiences across Wales.
